AKA International Day of Prayer

The fourth and final International Day of Prayer, Impact Day Observation will take place on Sunday, August 22. Alpha Kappa Alpha will worship corporately in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The power of pray will reflect current world issues, and honor those who perished in the Tulsa massacre. 

The theme is Tulsa Sunday: Remembering, Reclaiming, Restoring to honor the lives lost in Tulsa's Greenwood District neighborhood better known as Black Wall Street. The activities will begin at 10:00 CDT.

Wreath Laying Ceremony at 2:30 pm

The activities will be Livestreamed on the official Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporate YouTube channel and FaceBook page. Livestream begins at 10:00 am CDT. (11:00 EST)

No special Alpha Omega Program has been planned for this year. We will enjoy the final International Day of Prayer provided by Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. Pray for Haiti

For all those impacted for all those impacted by the devastating earthquake in Haiti.
